🎯 Learning Objectives

📖 Let Us Begin!

Do you live with your mother, father, and grandparents? The people we live with and love are our family.

Every family is special. Some families are big and some are small. But all families love and care for each other.

Let us learn about our family!

Joint Family: A big family with grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins all living together.

How We Help Each Other

Every family member helps in some way:

Mother cooks food and helps us study. Father earns money and fixes things. Grandparents tell stories and give advice. Brothers and sisters play with us and share toys. We help too — by keeping our room clean and being kind.

FestivalsFamilies celebrate festivals like Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Holi, and Durga Puja together. We wear new clothes, make sweets, and visit relatives.
WeddingsWhen someone in the family gets married, the whole family gathers. There is music, dancing, delicious food, and lots of happiness.
AnniversariesParents celebrate their wedding anniversary every year. Children make cards and give flowers to show their love.
New YearFamilies welcome the new year together with prayers, sweets, and wishes for good health and happiness.
Arjun's grandmother turned 70 last month. The whole family — uncles, aunts, cousins — came from different cities. They had a big party with music and food. Arjun made a card for her. She was very happy!

Special days remind us how much we love each other. They create memories that we keep forever.
