What Are Rhyming Words?

Rhyming words are words that end with the same sound.

Example: cat and bat rhyme because they both end with "-at".

Example: sun and fun rhyme because they both end with "-un".

Example: ring and sing rhyme because they both end with "-ing".

Say these out loud: cat, bat, hat, mat, rat. Do they all sound the same at the end? Yes! They all rhyme!
